Help! Need my distributor curved.

Can anyone suggest a shop to curve my Mallory distributor in the Pleasanton Tri-Vallet Area?

Thanks,

A lot of shops have gotten out of curving distributors. If you can't find someone close, give Don Gould a call at www.4secondsflat.com He's in Beaverton, Oregon...I had him do mine, and turn around time is great.

Larry: Since you have a Mallory distributor, you have will need to locate an individual with a distributor machine, this is becoming a dying breed. I have not been able to locate a graph with predetermined results similar to MSD's.

Place between two bricks, jump up and down. Stop when you feel "curve is right".
Seriously, its one of the things you see at swap meets because nobody uses them anymore. Ask Chuck. "Modern" cars don't even have distributors anymore.

Rick,
I tried that first along with a BFH. I could getting it close enough.

Go to Kragen. Get an digital timing light. It's pretty easy if you have a mallory recurve kit. You will need the recure spring kit.

The best distributor shop in the Bay Area by far is:

Ole's Carburetor & Electric Inc
120 El Camino Real
San Bruno, CA 94066
Phone: (650) 589-7377

He's forgotten more than I know, and since I know almost everything... well, you get the picture.
