DYNO DAY A/F #'s REDO
Hi Guys!
I Talked with Ted today and he did get his A/F meter fixed. Anybody that was at dyno day can redo their #'s free of charge!. The new date is march 18th and we are going to meet for breakfast at 9:00am at the same place! Let me know who is comming. Rich, call me offline at 408 813-4100. Welcome aboard Scott!
Thanks,
Greg
P.S. Bill, I'll have to go the "free" route. Thanks and I'll let ya know if the air cleaner fits. MUCH THANKS

Obviously subject to weather, I will be there. Sounds like testing should run from 10-1± if we have the same # of cars. Will there be time to re-jet if necessary?
Country Inn is fine, however based on the time, did you want to meet at Bajis instead as it is the third Saturday of the month?

I"m in. I should be done with everything by then. I get my Zaino kit Thursday so I sould also have things shined up by then.
Greg,
If the air cleaner you got from Bill isn't enough, they have one like mine on www.cobraaccessories.com that is only $145 then you just need to buy the K&M filter for $65. It is heavy cast aluminum that is just aluminum colored.

Greg,
My car's up on jackstands right now having some upgrades done. I don't think I'll have it back on the road by the 18th. Maybe I should pray for rain so dyno day gets postponed for a couple of weeks again.

Doesn't look like I'll be able to make it to the dyno... but I may be able to meet up for breakfast.

Chris,
You have 9 days to get it done. I hope it is nothing major. I have mine on stands right now. I had my front tires rebalanced a while back and they said my left wheel was bent. So I dropped them off with Ted today and he was taking them to a shop to get checked and to put the new fronts on so I can get the alignment done before the Reno trip.

Well, wouldn't you know it? I am going to drinking Rhones up in Wino Country on the 18th. Shucks! I'll have to call Ted for another date. Bill, I'm going to stop by Greg's place next week and check out your air cleaner. Rich

Greg,
Thanks for breakfast and putting it all together and also the parts. It couldn't have been a better day. It was good we had time to rejet and get them perfect. It was nice of Ted to let us have the redo's and the new ones, and use of the shop for the day.
I am typeing this in the back yard so I can try to get the rest of the fumes out of my head.
Next time I will try to do better with my guess.

Hey Guys,
I was'nt going to post this but after thinking about it I thought everyone should know. I had a black leather bag stolen out of my trunk at teds within the last hour of the day. It had hundreds of dollars in tools, MSD modules, lead hammer, Wire spinners, Zaino products,... ETC,ETC,ETC.BUMMER!!. IT was there about an hour before we left and mysteriously disappeared. I had left my trunk open. I guess I should'nt have done that! Lesson learned. The point to this message, LOCK YOUR TRUNK!!!!

Greg: That is very depressing news. I never have locked my boot and don't even have a key (it needs a different key than the ignition, right?). Looks like I've been lucky. I guess I need to visit my local locksmith. I'm sure you told Ted about this, just in case. If we hear of some yahoo trying to sell any of this special stuff, we will know what to do. I will have my beast running later this week and will see if I can get Ted to dyno it so I can see how the larger jets and big air cleaner work out. If it needs further tuning I'll sign up for Bill's next dyno session on April 8. Rich
