Smile Got a enclosed trailer? Want to make some money?

My cobra is up in Yuba City being painted. I had a guy that took it up for me and did a spectacular job. Unfortunately he will be out of town when it is finished so I may need to find an alternate to go get it. So if you have a truck/trailer and want to make some quick cash hit me up.

Thumbs up Open carhauler

I have an open carhauler w/winch & Ford truck you can use, if you buy the gas.
Look in my photo gallery for pictures.
I just hauled my Cobra from LA to Sac with it, no problems.

Good Luck!
jdog
P.S. I'm in Sac.

Hey Jdog..

I just got back from vacation.. I am very interested in hiring you to haul the car. What's your schedule like? I don't have a definite timeline from Ken yet as to when she will be done. Hopefully soon.

Smile Prison Industry Authority

Mike, I work for a division of the Calif. Dept of Corrections, PIA (Prison Industry Authority). We operate the factories inside Calif. prisons.

http://www.pia.ca.gov/index.html

I have been working at Folsom Prison for 20 years. For the first 15 years I was the Superintendent of the License plate factory. Yes, all Calif license plates are still made at Folsom.

For the last 5 years I have worked in PIA hqts in our Operations Division, as a Project Mgr.. PIA hqts is at Folsom Prison, but I spend a lot of time at any one of our other 32 prisons, across the state. Or in a meeting, or training, somewhere!

I suppose you know about CMF (Calif Medical Facility) at Vacaville, scary place!

jdog
P.S.I'll keep the 29th open.

jdog,
I just put in an order two weeks ago for "UNRL 65." Can you check on it for me? By the way, it looks like you might well be driving before I am! How sad is that!!! Planning on going to Monterey next month for the historics? I'm hoping to go if the coupe is sorted out by then...

As far as JDog, I once qualified for a position with Folsom prison as a video camera tech, it's not easy to get in... I declined because I already had a job in WA state

Cool.. I was a CO for 4 years in Taxachussetts. Then my hair started to fall out and for 36k a year I decided it was time to move on. So I switched to IT work and 200k a year is much better in my book.

But from what I hear the state prison system here pays a hell of a lot more than the prison system in Mass. Pretty sad.

Ill let you know if anything changes about the 29th. Thanks man.

Thumbs up I'll check!

I'll check on your plate tomorrow. But I can tell you that our agreement with DMV, requires we make & ship all personalized plates, within 3 days.

We always hold to this, trust me I know! I have made many a license plate, "back in the day", during lockdowns.

jdog
P.S. Good luck with your car, I hope to see you at Monterey.

Smile Any openings?

[quote=onefastmustang]Cool.. So I switched to IT work and 200k a year is much better in my book.

/QUOTE]

I sure don't make anything close to that!
Got any openings? I can be quite a "Motivator"! I can show you how we get work out of the un-willing!

BnB, I think your probably better off up north. I was stationed at Ft Lewis in the Army, and then worked for the "Lazy B" for 6 years. I should'a stayed in Seattle!

jdog
P.S. I suppose they have "rules" about motivating employees, out there!

Thumbs up

Wow, jdog! That's service!!! Could you start up a deal where prisoners make CSX rollers?! I think you could solve the state deficeit in a hurry!!! Best of luck with 4795 - exciting times! I'll drop you a note in a couple of weeks about Monterey. I'm done hijacking the thread now - thanks, OFM!

Me neither.. I have 4 kids all college bound and a big mortgage. They all get it for the moment. I work a ton of hours too, 7 days a week.

JDOG,

If it isn't too much of a bother will you check on my plate DAETONA? I ordered it over 2 months ago (May 20th to be exact) and still no word from the DMV.

Thanks, FIA Mike
