Default tour de vin 2006

WOW how hot was it?? some say 114? is this a new record?
Despite the heat Kelly and I had a great time, came straight home and into the pool! I wanted to thank Larry aka Potato Head and Mike aka monster
for putting together this great event. We are looking forward to STTL!! Any one going to ponies and snakes tomorrow? I will be there.

We got as far as San Jose and turned around. Figured it was just too hot.
Sorry we missed it.

You missed a great time. I'm from Yuba City but your club treated us as their own. We had a wonderful time and look forward to the next wine run. Maybe Elvis will show up again.

You did much better than we did. We never left the house. Just couldn't face the heat.

We had a great time. Thanks to Larry and Mike!

Yes, it was hot. The themometer in my "brand-x" read 115 before the day was done and didn't dip below 100 until after dinner.

Hopefully next year the weather will be cool enough to take our Cobra.

Regards,
Randy R...

Great Day....

We were in the "Wimp" first flight with the A/C on full blast all day and it was the best TDV so far...missed driving the Cobra but , the thermometer in our Brand X varied from 102 -115 throughout the day.

Really like leaving at noon and taking the afternoon and early evening for wine tasting, buying and cruising.

Job Well Done to ----Monster Mike and Larry D....

Great event in spite of the heat! The "official" temp was 112*, but I'm betting with the 115* numbers quoted here. After the BBQ we went home to Livermore to NO POWER!!! Uhhgg!!! Stayed off until the wee hours of Monday morning. Anyway, thanks again Mike and Larry for a great event! Looking forward to next year already!

Chris
