I didn't make it today. My 'boss' reminded me I have some domestic work to do in the AM. Both involved my daughters and my wife wasn't feeling too well to handle both. I'm good with it. I still got to run the Cobra around for an hour (and drove it to work on Friday for good measure. )

Look at that weather outside! Time for you guys who like to sleep in a little to join us at Baji's this Saturday about 7:30 AM for the best omelettes in town. Scott B will tell us how he finally got his carburetor set up with the help of his fancy new meter and I'll tell you how to modify your Summit one-size-fits-all driveshaft loop and where to go to have your new extreme duty built. Greg: No excuse! My new driveshaft won't be ready until Monday. But I'll still be there telling driveshaft loop tales. Bring a Brand X and park over by me. I'll buy the coffee. Rich

Hey Rich,
What the heck is taking so long. Did you have to mine the ore to send to the mill to make the metal to make the drive to put in the car .

Scott: At first, it was just too cold to work on the beast. Then I decided to install the Summit one-size-fits-all driveshaft loop. It's kinda tight in between those frame tubes, so I've been slowly chopping and drilling a little at a time. And then I saw Dean's blown driveshaft photos. I realized that my shaft, driveshaft that is, wasn't optimal. So a couple of weeks ago, I dug up the best local driveshaft guy and we designed a better unit. You know, Spicer 1350 U-joints (no lube), chromoly shaft, forged yoke, ARP fasteners, racing paint: the works. Then there was the time spent at the steel manufacturer... Rich

I cant go tomorrow wife is out of town so me and the boy are hanging out. Greg what happened to your side pipes? I've got new headers that I havent installed yet, that came with new gaskets. I wont be using them for a while so if you need to take mine and replace em later you are more than welcome to.

Hey Daryl,
I took the sidepipes off to weld on a couple of bungs so I could use Scotts AFR meter. Ordered the flange gaskets a week and a half ago from Hillbank and they took my money and "FORGOT" to ship them. They then promised to have them to me today but still no gaskets. They SUCK!
Greg
Call me on my cell as I might if you don't mind. You have a pm.
How about them SHARKS

I have always received very good service from Dynamic in Ross, OH. when ordering parts. Give Tim a call next time you need to order something.

Tinker,
I called dynamic in reno twice and they never answered. I guess I should of called Ohio but figured since Lance is Superformance USA and in California I thought I would give him a try. I'll call Tim next time.

I called Reno once too. They told me that Ross had the big parts warehouse so I have always called them ever since.
