Wscb 2007

It looks like the other WSCB main posting kinda got hi-jacked. So, for those of you in the Bay Area Cobra Club and surrounds, maybe we need to post our plans here?

For what it's worth, I have sent in my registration for WSCB and track day. As we get closer to the date we can firm up caravan plans etc. So far I saw that Gio, Larry Goss, John Marsey, John Place, Scott Beall, Bill Meyer have signed up. Anybody else?

Bill

Yup, I'm definitely in. But it seems as if Larry Davi still hasn't registered, even though he said he was going to last Saturday. Larry, do you feel the peasure to conform yet!?;)

4pipes 11-08-2006 04:05 PM

We signed up for the whole shabang.

Caravan-

Hi all-
We will be going up Thursday out of San Jose, so anyone who wants to join up let me know and we can set up a meeting place, and also pick up anyone
along the way heading out. We would like to start mid morning and take our time enjoying the drive, lunch and just kicking back.

I also plan on driving up from San Jose mid morning on Thursday. Let's figure out where and when to meet. I'll be coming from 17 and highway 9.

ELGEE 01-27-2007 08:15 AM

Hi Dave-
That will be easy- I live just off 17 and Hamilton-so if you like we can meet up there or at my house- only a couple of blocks from the intersection ,right by FRY's- cell -408 422 3970

That sound good. Let's see if others will join us. Leave about 10am?

cobrasnake 01-27-2007 10:01 AM

Last year a large bunch met in Walnut Creek around 10 AM and then headed to Auburn for lunch around noon. We were in Reno well before they started to hand out registration material (i.e. we arrived around 2:30 as I recall). Not sure if that will fit into your schedule - also don't know when that group wants to leave this year. We still have a lot of time to work out those details.:)

Hi Dave-
we are TOTALLY flexible- so whatever works !

Unfortunately, I'll be out of town that week. I really wanted to attend this year. I'm going through the "annual inspection" of the engine next week, I've had an oil leak since completion, time to fix it once and for all! Last time I tore off the intake I found a piece of a valve seal. She'll be all hot and lathered with nowhere to go!!!

Well, actually, now that you mention it, we've actually had few hot and lathered cars attend WSCB without their owners before. No kidding, a few people the first and second year sent good friends with their cars, so at least their car wouldn't miss out on all the fun, and those cars did have fun! :D

Duane,

Thanks for the offer but to tell you the truth, I'm a little selfish towards my car . . .there, I've said it . . . I guess I'll catch you at the next event, or dinner. There's a hole summer a commin!!!

Chris
