Mike, help me out here. I got it that your not in the can. But, what's the status of you car? Is it registered legally now or do you have to do something else? Glad you're not sufferin' anymore. Scott

Not surprizing...you might want to pay some attention to your own state and read the papers rather than worry about us.

Hawaii doesn't tax retirement? I missed that part but will look into shortly.

Trust me, you won't be saving enough to make up for the cost of living around here! We call it 'the price of paradise' and it aint cheap.

Ernie...tell them how screwed up the islands are or they'll be all over the place complaining about there not being enough cactus or Starbucks around.

...in any event, this is the Bay Area's forum and not a soapbox for other state residents to attack what is one of the greatest nations on earth (sans the other 49).

Glad Mike was able to resolve his issues, and good on Randy for laying it out. Let's keep it to that. Any further off-topic comments will be moved to someplace as desolate as the Arizona desert.

[Edit...and the soapbox reference includes myself as much as anyone. I've moderated myself several times here already.]

Default Move to florida it's like the wild west used to be

How did CA. change from the wild west to become the socialist HQ for the US (sorry WA, and VT, 2nd and 3rd place). Leave town now before they confiscate all personal property including your cobra. Florida will take you in like a Cuban once you hit the border and no one will ask any questions about your car registration. No offence Cubanos, just the facts.

Better than losing it in a sinkhole.

Really...let's get back to the thread subject.

this car was registered befor sb100 went into effect. dmv does have a list of all cars registered through titles unlimited. they estimate that there are at least 70,000 illegally registered cars in calif. there are also more 32 ford coupes registered in calif than were ever made.......mike
That indeed sucks...overzealous prosecuter trying to make his mark?

Default Sinkholes are the insurance mans best friend

Come on Jamo, lets say you just smashed your cobra in a non insured crash and you saw a fresh sink hole to drive it in to. Yes or No?

Cobrabill,
It would be "cool" as you claim to be, to take your hostile attitudes and your mean spirit and keep them to yourself.
Maybe try writing a response without telling someone to "spread em'" or advocating the actions of Hitler.
I reacted to the above thread you posted in the forum and your response was to rip my family and offer comments about something dripping down my moms leg, with the moderator finally shutting down the thread
Your inability to express so much as an idea without including some vile commentary about someone who takes a different point of view is boring and dull.
Try taking a a new route where a response offered by you might contain some constructive content instead of just blindly lashing out in such an mean spirited manner.
Try being a "merchant of cool" as you claim to be.

OK...now it's getting personal, due, no doubt, to the "victim's" own brand of posting terrorism.

Mike...going to close the thread. I'm sure everyone agrees that we're glad your nightmare has ended. That chapter is closed...enjoy the spec racer without having to look over your shoulder.
