Alice's 6/30/07 instead of Bajis
Since we don't have breakfast at Bajis scheduled for this Saturday (it's not the 1st or 3rd Saturday), how about meeting at Alice's (CA35 & 84) at 8:00 instead? If clear, take a run up the coast to HMB (or beyond) and home. If foggy, head down to Woodside and a drive around there before heading home.
8:00 allows East/North Bay folks to join if they wish, otherwise we could do 7:30 if people want to get back to their Honey-Do list earlier.
Shout out if you can make it.
Tom
FWIW - the End of Summer Run (September 15th) is tenatively scheduled to again have breakfast at Alice's.

Hi Tom,
I’d like to meet this Sat. at Alice’s.
7:30 is better for me although I can bail when I need to.
As for End of Summer Run, in Scotts Valley there is a great car museum at Canepa Design http://www.canepa.com/collection/about.html I think I can get a Sat. showing for our group. We could come down hwy. 9 through Felton and on over to Scotts Valley. After the museum maybe lunch Scotts Valley/Santa Cruz?

I can join. Are you thinking of bringing the wives. If so 8 would be better, if not 7:30 is fine.

Wives are always welcome although they may wish to wait for the End of Summer Run. Just thought folks would enjoy a different place for breakfast and place to drive on a Saturday morning. Nothing special. Tom B.

Tom - I'm planning on joining you for breakfast on Saturday. This will be my first breakfast get together since taking delivery of my car on Saturday...my neighbors are going to love hearing the car start that early. I guess they'll get used to it.
Tom Howland - Want to caravan to Alices's on Saturday? If it's clear, we can run right up Hwy 1. I'll send you a PM with my cell number and email. Also, a visit to Canepa sounds great. I've always wanted to check out their operation and car collection.

Doug,
Congratulations on getting the car. It looks really great. It will probably take an hour to get to Alice’s from Santa Cruz. If it isn’t foggy hwy 1 through Pescadero is a great run. I’m up for that.
Canepa’s is super. I got my tires and rims force balanced on their Hunter machine. Made unusable combinations useable. I got a tour while I was waiting!! Amazing place.

Hmmm, never been to Alice's. Always heard about it and passed it a couple of times but too many bikers taking up the parking. IF I can get my new shocks/springs installed, I'll be there.

Hopefully we'll be there early enough to snag some parking places. If not, we can go to plan "B"...whatever that is. Aside from driving my car back from Sacramento last weekend, this is its maiden voyage. I'm still in that "gotta keep an eye on my new toy" phase .

Parking should not be a problem that time of the morning. Also, there is a big lot across the street where we parked for the 2005 EOSR. The motorcycles take over on Sundays, so again no big issue.
Doesn't sound like a lot of wives are interested/available so let's plan on meeting at 7:30 so as to better accommodate. If you are a little later, no big deal.

Tan,
My wife wants to go, but not if she is the only one. Let me know if your wife is going.

Tom - Thanks making the suggestion to go to Alice's! Great drive from Alice's on Skyline through Saratoga after breakfast.
Tom Howland - Couldn't have asked for better weather for the run up Hwy 1 through Pescadero today. Hope I didn't slow you down !
Good meeting and talking to everyone.

I'll second that.
That was the most enjoyable Cobra breakfast thus far. Perfect day, perfect drive. Loved it.
I certainly hope we do that again.
Next time, in my car.
