Default Livermore Breakfast

How about getting a group together to drive up to the Rock House on Saturday morning from the south bay. I know it's early for some of you that need your beauty sleep, but it's only sleep and you can do that on Sunday morning!

We meet at the other Starbucks at the corner of Blossom Hill and Santa Teresa ( by Luckys and Armadillo Willys) at 6:30am. Then take off a bit after that. It takes around 45 minutes to get there.

Greg, You are a good man. Have fun!!!!!! My wife is gone this weekend, so I get to do what I want except for the 2 soccer games this weekend and catering to my youngest daughter!!

Ug, my radiator decided to go pee-pee. Having it sent back to the MFG. hopefully as a free repair but since my car is now on stilts, I won't be doing any driving for about 2 weeks. It's ok. It now gives me a great excuse to do a few things I've been dying to do.

Need to repair a couple of ill-placed holes in my roll bars and then send it to get chromed. Next oil change. I just realized I have not changed the filter in about a year. I drained it yesterday. I did find a sliver of metal but can't tell much from where it came from; rest is just fine metal powder (have a magnetic drain plug.)

Also need to replace a tranny spacer at the poly mount; right now, it's a stack of hardened washers... real professional looking.... I have a set of real spacers now so that's going in.

Also got around to buying an ignition switch!!! Yes, my car was pretty much ready to steal very easily. That will no longer be the case.

If the radiator takes longer than 2 weeks, I have an alumium rear end that I will swap out for the iron unit. It was too good a deal to pass up as Ford Racing wants $560-580 for just an aluminum housing and I got one with gears for just $100! So I won't save a lot on the weight but every little bit counts on a car that weighs less than 2500lbs.

Have fun gang!

Scott,

I'll join you on Saturday. See you at Starbuck's at 6:30. It's been quite a while since I have driven up there.

Still no car.

It was going back together this week, so it should be done very soon.

Doug,
Get out of bed in the morning and take your normal car. I have done that a few times.

Hey Doug, I'm sure you can find an available co-pilot's seat at Starbucks for a ride to the Rock House and back...

Scott,

I'm too lazy to get out of bed that early (unless I'm driving my SPF). I get up at 5:15 am every day and drive from Santa Cruz to Mt. View!

I flaked out on you a couple of weeks ago...my wife asked me three times if I was going to go, but I was unconscious.
