E break busted
Hi Folks
I think the e break cable got busted, I backed-up the car and forget to release the hand brake, do you know where can I buy the cable?
I have not jack-up the car to take a look, but my guess the cable may be broke
Thanks
Tan

If you still have tension, then the cable isn't broke.

TC - You may need to replace the pads on the eBrake.

TC, do you have the differential/drive-shaft ebrake disk or the extra calipers on the rear disks? Either way, you probably just need to adjust them...

Kinda what I was thinking....some of these cars have shoes behind the rotors. You may have broken one/two.

If the e-brake is mounted on the axle housing, you'll probably have to remove a wheel/tire, then pull the caliper/rotor off to get a good look.

I believe they come off in the forward direction. Same direction as tire rotation as if you were moving forward.

tc,
For the Knock-offs. Just rememebr the drivers side is normal thread direction the passengers side is a reverse thread. So drivers side is counter-clockwise to loosen passsengers side is clockwise to loosen.
I remember this by thinking my passengers are always a bit different as compared to me the driver?
