Mountain View Thursday Evening Logistics

Those of you who want to drive in as a group, please be at Baji's http://www.bajis.com/ between 4:00 and 4:30. They will be closed by then, so the lot should be ours.

If you are running late, go directly to the corner of Hope St. and W. Dana St. This is the only entry point for Castro St. on Thursday, as all cars are to be escorted in by the MVPD. They may not get all the cars in on schedule, so you could still have a chance even if you are a little late.

If you are on the list below, and don't show up at Baji's, I'll save your spot. Anyone else planning to come, please let me know ASAP, so I can block a spot for you.

Robert, if you decide to come please do not speed through Mountain View as you are now the President, and as such must present an exemplary image for the BAAC.

All the cars are going to be staged on Dana, between Hope and Castro, and then led in en masse at 5:00 (or so). Again, if you miss Baji's, just head for Hope and Dana and look for us there. A couple blocks of Castro will be closed, so from Baji's head down Rengstorff, make a left on California and a left on Hope.

Scott & Doug, Milana has decided to sit this one out.

My original intent was to actually come down and watch you guys roll in and set up ... as I don't have a Cobra ( ... yet). However, if appropriate, I can bring the TR6 and follow you guys in if that's OK. I'll meet you guys at Baji's and we can take it from there. Either way is good for me. See you soon.

If I leave Newark around 3:00pm today, I hope to be there around 4:00pm, I can not tell how bad the traffic going toward Mt View

According to Google map, it's only 21 miles from where I work to Bajis

If any of you have pics from today's show please feel free to share. Perhaps our official professional club photographer and president Chuck may have some.

I wish I could have been there with the gang. I bet the weather was waaaaaay hot. Did you all get your ice cream?....hmmm, that reminds me to indulge in some myself.
