Alice's or Baji's on Sat 9/20?
Anyone up for breakfast at Alice's on Saturday 9/20? I know a number of people are heading to Snakes, but I thought I'd put out the call.
I'm also up for Baji's. Not my first choice since I drive to Mountain View to work every day.

hmmmm, my car is being aligned tomorrow and I think I'm done except for a couple minor "extras." Will I get it home before this weekend is the $64 question.

Hi Doug,
I won't be back to CA in time to make STTL, so I'm in for Alice's.

I think I got run down to the DMV and get a TOP! Oh boy, Oh boy. Crossing my fingers, but at this point, we could meet at McDonalds and have pancakes and I think I would be happy. Uh, strike that.

Sounds good Tan!
Let's plan on meeting at the Union 76 Station in Saratoga at 7:30 am (corner of Big Basin Way and Saratoga/Los Gatos Road). That usually puts at Alice's by 8:00 am when they open.

You can also take Hwy 85 towards Cupertino, exit at Saratoga Avenue. Turn left on Saratoga Avenue (cross under Hwy 85). That will take you right into Saratoga and the 76 station.

Doug,
Well I am going to give the TR6 another go. Will plan on meeting up with you guys at the 76 in Saratoga and follow the group up the hill. Hopefully THIS time I'll make it to the meeting point, unlike a few weeks ago.
At least the fuel pump should be OK, but you never know. It's not just a drive ... it's an adventure !
So ... I'll carry a few extra e-rings, fuses and spanners in the boot. That along with a cell phone and AAA card should just about do it.
See you then.
- Tim

Doug, I hope to go out there today and see what's up. There may be a small something or other that may hang me up, but I could be good to go.
By the way, I tried to get an appointment with "our" DMV office and the next available appointment is the first week of October.
So, I may need to wait an hour (w/o appt.) or whatever to get my TOP since I can't wait until October! I'm not sure going to another DMV with shorter wait would be worth my time, since we know the manager at "our" DMV office.
That darn State budget is hanging me up.
