Rodney - If it don't get to the DMV today, I've found that the wait is pretty short if you show up first thing Monday morning about 20 minutes before they open. I did that once and had flashbacks of January 2nd.

Doug, thanks for the helpful hint. I may just do that. I was reading the current wait times at the various Bay Area DMV locations and the one we used has a one hour wait. The other DMV locations around were about 0-5 minutes. 
Explain that?
The thought of going through the entire rigga-ma-roll with another DMV, getting them up to speed, just gives me the shakes. 
Actually, my January 2nd went really well. it's the next 8 weeks after that day, that gives me the hives and scratching. |

I think we were driving directly through clouds on Skyline after breakfast this morning!
Pretty wet, but a least it wasn't too cold.

The drive back down 84 in the TR was dry ... the sun is out on this side of the hill. Great to see you guys at breakfast.

Doug and all,
I got to 76 station at 7:36 am, a bit late due to some road blocking at Saratoga, your guys already gone and Police kicked me out the 76 packing lot and block Hwy 9 (detour), I have no clue how to get to Alice , turnaround and go home
oh well, may be some other time.
