What a great day in the sun! Well, maybe not. But I had a great time visiting Denbeste's place. Nice folks. Impressive inventory. I especially liked his wife's collection. Very eclectic.

Quite a turnout of Cobras considering how brisk it was.

Thanks for setting it up Bob. Another thanks for posting the pictures.

The next meet will be back at Flipper's in Petaluma. We can discuss what events we want to have in the summer.

A great day for all! I wimped out and took the daily driver (c'mon it was frigid!) but it didn't matter. I anounced my intent to build a 408/418 stroker in my garage over the winter and got some much needed help from Dean & Bev Davis up in Windsor who are lending me an engine hoist and an engine stand, and from Paul F. who has offered another engine stand (for robbing parts from the 351 I'm pulling out). Paul has also expressed some interest in being at least partially involved which would be great.
The all forged short block will arrive in a couple of weeks and then the fun begins. It's actually going to be closer to a 418 as it is .060 overbored and 4" stroker crank so that gives it 414.2cid by my calculations.
Thanks to all! See you on the 4th of Jan. for the next one.
Don & Jacquie

BRRRRR. It was cold. I figured I'd at least have a nice warm ride home in the sun. But the fog didn't lift until I got home (naturally).

Yep, c'mon up for the next one. First Sunday of the month at Flippers (the one on the river) in Petaluma.
