Default Blackhawk Museum

Call Jacque Littlefield web site for tank museum. He will arrange a date for a Club group. Need to get there by 10am and it takes a couple of hours for the tour which will be guided by one of his employees. It will blow your mind.
Ask to see the workshops - with a German Tiger tank on the rotisserie.
I have been twice.

Have lunch at a local nearby country pub dating way back. They will give the address. Take care to get detailed directions it is not easy to find.

Blackhawk also has a large model train layout at present.

I'd like to see them get some tanks upstairs. Great Museum, always worth a look at their displays.

I read in the SJ Mercury today that (sadly) Jaques Littlefield passed away after a long battle with cancer. Based on the article, the family will continue to maintain and carry on the legacy of his tank museum.

I am very sorry to hear about Jacques, I would have loved to have met him. I used to be a tool designer/prototype machinist and have wanted for some time to see his shop. Same for the museum in Danville. Sign me up for both events. OK if I bring my Life Member Sierra Club card? Rich.
