Default Cobras to the Coast???

Hi "Monster" Mike et al, I was wondering if there was a "Cobras to the Coast" event planned for this year? We had such a great time at the one last year we were hoping for another but I have not heard or seen anything about it on the BACC calendar or otherwise.
What's the story? Any palns for one this year?
If not perhaps we (North Bay Cobras chapter) might consider arranging and sponsoring one this time around since it is up in our area, but only if no other plans are in motion.
Let me/us kiow if thaere are any plans afoot.
Don & Jacquie

Hi Don,

The plans for the CH1 2009 are coming together. Here's a thread that Duane posted with some preliminary info.

CH1 2009 / Early Interest inquiry?

Sound good but I'm not sure we're talking about the same event(?). The one I was inquiring about was called "Cobras to the Coast" by BACC and included driving up with the BACC from Novato on a Friday and staying in Fort Bragg until a Monday morning drive back.
It also included some kite flying and a ride and picnic on the "Skunk Train" while up there as well.
Are you talking about the same event or a seperate one?
Don

Don ,

You are correct, these are 2 different events. "Cobra's to the Coast" will be run again next year. For this year we are planning a Tour de Vin in Sonoma in July. Alternating trips from year to year will provide variety to our trips plus it's a lot of work to set up the logistics for the multiple trips we do each year (Santa Barbara, Tour de Vin/Cobra's to the Coast, Mid-summer/End of Summer Run, Snake's to the Lake). There may also be an additional "summer secret" run in August (in planning).
CH1, as I have heard, is a stay over on central coast with day drives up and down Hwy1.

See you for Santa Barbara!

Mike
