Rodney,

I didn't know you played soccer! My daughters game is Saturday. So I have a free day on Sunday. I figured I should spend it in the COBRA and give it another week before I get back on the dirt bike!!

Yes, I do! We have two soccer games this Sunday at about the same time. I would normally skip my game and drive the Cobra with you guys, but we can't miss the other game. I'm bummed, I just got the schedule

Steve,

I will meet you for coffee at starbucks, but I can not make the trip, I teach sunday school the month of April. As a matter of fact the church is directly across foothill expressway from starbucks, and since I drive the cobra to church, I just have have to arrive a little earlier for coffee first. By the way you guys missed a great ride last weekend down to Lake San Antonio. Great bunch of people and a really good BBQ. There were about 60 cars (20 Cobras), maybe 100 people +/-. After lunch we drove back roads to Carmel, then back ove to Salinas, and then up 101. Great Day! total about 300 miles.

Jerome

Lane,

Good news...you didn't miss it. The run up to the North Bay is on Sunday, 4/5.

Steve's post has details regarding the meeting point in Los Altos on Sunday morning.

That would be cool Jerome - BTW: your box of warranty parts arrived from hillbank today- let me make sure it is all there --and we can figure out when to peek at SP02808 this next week.

It looks like the weather has improved to being pretty decent. It's going to be anywhere from 71 and sunny to low 60's and cloudy depending upon what report you read. But then, you could probably experience all of that on a trip up from Santa Cruz on any given day.

Looks like we will have a good turnout. I've heard on private mail that some of the East bay folks may join us as well.

Don has had some fun getting his new 418 running, but says it is running good enough to come down and show it off. He can regale us with some stories of engine building.

See you all there.

I may still come after the soccer game, which is at 8:15 AM, though we have to be there 30-45 minutes before game time...on a Sunday morning.

You guys may be blowing out of there by the time I could make it. Bummer.

Paul's correct. I'd say close to 9 out of 10 North Bay Cobras bring the gals with them to these get togethers, which will mean about 10 gals or so from the North Bay should be there. So absolutely feel free to bring your ladies as this is not just a "guy thing" by any means.

Depending on if I get my motor back together again, I'll try to meet Steve in Los Altos for some Starbucks. Unfortunately it will be a no go for the trip over the Gate.

Steve: Although I'm a big Peet's fan, I'm in for Sunday at 8:15 AM at the Los Altos Rancho's Starbucks. I presume it is close to Andronico's? Rich

Looks like the weather is going to behave. Cool, but sunny.

For those of you in the other groups that are wondering what kind of crowd you will be seeing tomorrow, here are some pictures of the group from one of our get togethers. As you can see, plenty of wives (and for the first time kids) show up. Some of the wives decided to stay home that day as it was COLD driving.

Looking forward to meeting the South and East Bay folks tomorrow.
See you there.

I forgot to mention that Fred is planning on leading us on a short ride through the headlands after we eat tomorrow. Should be a nice ride. Great views, winedy roads, fun.
