Default Everette/Morrison

Considering purchasing a 2004 Everette/Morrison and wondering if anybody has had any experience with the Everette/Morrison cars....good or bad...
Would appreciate any feedback...

See if you can contact Jon Miller here on the forums. He built his pretty much from scratch though (started with just a frame, then body, then...)

Someone else has one; Rich?

I have worked on three E-M Cobras that were built in the 90's. I owned one for a couple of years.Top quality kits. I don't have any experience with the new kits but if they build them the same way, you can't go wrong with buying one.

I have an Everett Morrison. Very well built. I love the car and body. I have an 1987 Corvett suspension. If I can help you out I will be glad to. My car was built by Mr. John Richter 509-382-4276 Spokane, WA.

Gen IV, finsihed build in 2007. Great driving car. Stainless chassis and suspension components. Bit heavier than many Cobras, but solid and great for cruising. Been on the track several times where it holds its own. High quality components throughout.

My first cobra was a E/M I started it in 1996 and completed it in 1998. It is a very well built car and I have know the 2 other owners of the car since I sold it in 2000 (divorce) and they both love it.

Mine is an older kit from 1992 but I think E-M is the most under rated kit out there. They are built tough and the glass is as good as any other car made. Of course, I'm slightly biased.......

I've had this one for 5 years and don't have any regrets.

E-M have outstanding glass,my car built in the mid 90's (by E-M) has no cracks or spider marks. E-M produced cars of different wheel bases. Early cars were 90", with later cars going to 92" & 94" (I think). With corvette suspension and dana rear the car is a great driver. Have fun with your new toy. I you have any additional questions e-mail. Hi Tom......

Bought mine almost complete. Heavier body than most an early to mid 90s body. Was at a cruise in last year and a when a well known owner/builder of a Superformance shop came by to talk. He was impressed by the EM body after a good inspection inside and out. Told me he had sold a number of Superformance cars and that my EM ranked right there with what he had and sold. I was very happy when he told me what he thought my car would bring if I were to sell.

Bought mine in '95 from Buford Everett. Took 1 1/2 years to build. Been driving it 13 years, 29,000 miles. Great car!

Got the car....and appreciate all responses...it has a high performance 396 and the tremec 5-speed....and handles great. however, I have a couple of problems....my nephew pulled the passenger door release cable and broke it...now I cannot get the door open....and now sure now to get the interior door panel off.....any suggestions out there?

Again, thanks all for your feedback...

Be warned EM changed hands about a year ago. If you are considering a new one past reviews may not be as valid.

Filippo, I am assuming your doors have something that resembles bottons on the interior side of the door. These are just covers over a snap/phillips screw. Just pop off the covers and unscrew each. This will enable you to get to the pull cord. I hope this helps

Default Door panel

Thanks for your response...no, unfortunately, there are no caps with screws or snaps under them....that would be too easy for sure...I have tried to contact the folks at EM for a couple of weeks now but no response...left messages and sent emails...not sure what is the issue with them and customer service...

Thanks again for your feedback...ciao

The door panels are held on but velcro tape that is riveted and glued to the inner door panel. Grab the edge and pull.
