At this point, I am planning on breakfast at Bajis this Saturday and then may head over to DeAnza if others want to go. I have gone to the show a few times before and since I won't stay long, will be parking in the pay lot next door.

Anyone else planning on the Show and is there somewhere else you would like to go for breakfast - Bucks in Woodside, perhaps? Someplace in Cupertino or Saratoga that is Cobra friendly?

Steve - thanks for your hospitality!

Tom,

I might have to do something like that. We could always try the Diner in Los Gatos. Never eaten there, but heard the food was good. He said at 8 in the morning, it's not a problem to get a table.

Scott - I would prefer to eating a little closer to DeAnza. Maybe Dave Brown has a suggestion

Here's a suggestion.

Right off Alpine Rd, there's the Ladera Shopping Center. It has a Mike's Cafe, Amigo Grill (Mexican breakfast) and a nice little coffee shop with pastries, bagels, etc.

At that time of the morning, there should be a ton of open parking and right up front with safety margins like planter boxes.

Edit: Mike's Cafe menu: http://www.mikescafes.com/menus/PVBrunch.pdf Opens at 8:00 AM.

You might want to try the Country Inn on Sunnyvale-Saratoga Rd. Great breakfast value....you can Google/Map their parking lot and see if its ok. I'll be in a golf tournament Saturday so I can't participate. Also, my Cobra is out of service temporarily. Just got back from Thunderhill and my clutch pack in the limited slip differential needs replacing.

There's a Hobee's on Stevens Creek across the street from De Anza College.

I will have doughnuts and coffee in the AM at the booth. -- this is a full service airline.

Update : Dynamic Auto west will be adjacent to our MR booth and we will have my Green Cobra as well as hopefully a Dynamic car there.

Looks like it might touch 80 degrees in Cupertino on Saturday...should be nice compared to the reports from the last year's event where there reports of melted tires.

80 degrees in Cupertino? That's like Siberia for this time of year.

Forget the waffle iron, how making some nice veggie/egg whites-only omlettes with oatmeal or Cream of Wheat? Now that's what I'm talking about.

And don't forget the shots of wheat grass!

Let's plan on Baji's. It's quick, easy parking, and 10 minutes to De Anza. How about 8:30 am?

I'll probably head out about the same time Scott.

Have fun Guys... Hopefully, I'll be home wrenching - I expect a "new to me" rear sway bar rod end link to replace my broken one. I believe this is the source of my right rear squeak.

Oh, you mean that squeak in the rear where you had to stand in the interior car and jump up and down like the gorilla in the old Samsonite luggage commercial in order to hear it?

Leaks and squeaks. Can't stanz them.
