The best place to park is the large multi-level garage structure next to the Concours field. Probably best to just bring the daily driver.

I can't help you there, since I won't have my car at the event. The drive from Nordstrom's to the field is about 3 minutes...and you'll probably still need a ticket when you get to the gate.

Absolutely. The outdoors parking lots are sprawling and there's little to no way of keeping an eye on your car. The parking garage is closest to the show and will protect your car from the sun.

Hey Guys, Drink plenty of water today and wear sunscreen - it's gonna be a hot one! I would join you, but I have some "emergency volunteer" work to do. I'll be thinking of ya; take lots-o-pics!
Regards,
Randy...

Stood at the corner of Stock Farm @ Oak....just watching the parade of cars as they arrive at the registration entrance. Met a few of you (badrich and a couple other non-CC guys). A LOT of really nice cars at this show. My favorite was the '59 Ferrari 250 Testarossa (right hand drive) with the six dual-Webers poking through the lexan scoop. My cell phone camera shots will not do it justice. I didn't see the entire crop at the show, but I got a good taste for what was there...had to leave early to go to other commitments. I'm certain that those in attendance had a great time. Very hot here today, too (forecast says 98).
Saw maybe 5-6 Cobras total...perhaps there were more. TONS of Mustangs. Quite a few Shelby KR500 hardtops and convertibles from '67-68 vintage. Lots of Packards, Porsches, Ferrari's, one beautiful Lambo Muira (!!!), quite a few midyear ('63-67) Corvettes and a handful of all out race cars. The Mustang GT350 track cars were clearly the loudest of the group that I saw. There was also perhaps 20 or so vintage police cars and ambulances representing mostly the 60's, 70's and 80's. They all had working lights and sirens and made a real racket when they made their "arrival" known to all. I believe a bunch of retired police officers own/drive them.
Again, wish I could have stayed to see it all but had other commitments.

Dean,
Glad to hear you had a chance to watch some of the premier cars arrive. I got there about 1:00 pm and it was pushing 100 degrees...crazy hot! I was never happier to get back to the coast where it was sub 70 degrees this evening.
As usual, they had an excellent cross section of cars represented. I'm pretty sure that the majority of the KRs and GT350s were real, but who knows. A couple of my favorites:
-Totally original unrestored 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder owned by the Mallaya Collection.
- 1965 Shelby Cobra 289 CSX 2472. British Racing Green, beautiful! Award winner today.

- 1963 Ferrari GT250. Blue car.

Yes, that car was beautiful and had a very menacing exhaust note as well. Next to the GT350 Race 'Stangs, it had the best sound overall. You know the sound..."I'm purpose built...don't F with me."

If others missed it, my aquaintance shot these (The green CSX and the Testarossa are both closer towards the end of the first page.)

I could not make it; my knee's contacting muscles are kill me from Friday and just felt worse this morning so I stayed home. Heat and hobbling would not have been fun but it did look like a great turn out of cars.
Saw Bruce Canepa brought down the Rothmans Porsche 910K .
