Default EFI tuner in SF Bay Area

Looking for TWM EFI tuner in San Francisco Bay Area. Running Accel DFI system, Gen 7 (2004)? Previous dyno tuner went bankrupt, I don't have software, mapping, or connectors!

You could check with BRG Racing in Pleasant Hill. he has done quite a bit of EFI tuning and carb tuning for me. Always does a good job.

Ask for KC.

Ron,

Check out this link. Gen 7 is listed and you can download the instructions. It says the package included "CALMAP" software for tuning purposes. give them call, maybe they can send you a copy of the software. You will also need a cable to connect from the ECU to a laptop with the software.

I downloaded the software but ordered the cable from Accel. Here is a page with the info about which one you need:

http://www.accel-dfi.com/pdf/Pages32_33.pdf

I've not been able to find the place that I ordered it from. But I've since found you can get the "cable and USB Key" from Summit Racing. I think this is the one:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/AC...5&autoview=sku

(This includes a DB9 connector to the wide band controller which is not used in some applications.)

I got the Pro key/cable since I'll be turning the system over to a tuner to do the work.

Talk to Paul Case at Goodies Speed Shop in San Jose.

He's the general manager. He also owns Dyno West and is a distributor for the Accel Gen7 system. He did the tuning on mine. I have a stack intake system and he did a great job.
