Santa Cruz 7/25??
I was in my daily driver heading to the gym and I pulled up behind ~6 cobras making a U turn on Ocean st at water st. Any one have an idea who that was and where they were heading. I have been meaning to take my cobra out but would prefer to hang with other cobras
John(;-)

The line "who are those guys?" from Butch Cassidy comes to mind.
No idea who they are.
I was over the in Santa Clara Valley today and saw a silver/black Cobra in Los Gatos pulling in to the Starbucks near Hwy 85. I waved to the guy, but he kind of looked surprised...like he was looking in a mirror.

Might of been one of the guys from the south bay heading over to SC for breakfast or lunch. I forget; I was talking to someone about this on Friday but I was at Tour de Vin.

It wasn't our splinter group....we went to see Tanks in Woodside.

I think the tours are limited to something like 25 people, which makes sense since there are a lot of questions and the tanks are packed into 4 buildings.
Btw - We had a great tour guide who kept talking until he had to pick up the next group at 1:00 pm. Also thanks to Jeff for coordinating the event.

I concur ... great place to visit. I have been on the tour several times now, and each visit I see / learn something new. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable with a good blend of facts about the tanks, what their counter part was on the 'other side', and how it all fits together from a historical perspective.
The founder (Jacques Littlefield) passed away earlier this year, but evidently there is a Trust in place to keep the collection together. They have started asking for a $20 donation to help offset operating expenses.
If you ever went to the Bill Harrah's Automotive collection before it was broken up, it's a lot like that ... except with much bigger vehicles ... and most of them have really big guns!!!
