Cobra Make, Engine: Classic 427, I purchased it May 2005, the kit was bought in 1991. I'm not sure when it was completed! Installed GMPP Connect & Cruise 376/525 with T-56 S/M 3.55 gears about 2 years ago! 1/4 miles is with old setup!

Yep, and a 468 blower motor (B&M 420) and a SBC 383. I also have Merlin iron 320cc heads, the GMPP 572 heads as well as a pair of Edelbrock 370cc Victor heads (seats and guides only). 2 TH-400s (built) and a 700R-4 with manual valve body!

PM or e-mail if interested, selling the 572 would make it easy for me to choose the SBC 427(650 HP) I'm looking at!

I have not been to this link in a long time! Jason bought my 572/620, nice guy from Oak-City. He was putting a pair of them in a 30'-32' boat. He rebuilt both and upped the carbs to 1050 Dominators, they each made right at 700hp @ 5800 rpm. I would NOT want his fuel bill!

The 572 is a beast. GMPP had a display motor set up on a test stand at Daytona Rod Run about 5 years ago. They started it up every hour to demo the motor on open headers...it sounded like a pro stock motor on steroids...

Can't imagine having two of them on a boat...

It did sound good Mike! In my 454SS truck I had 2" Super Comp with 3.5" collectors, 3" Super 40's dumping in front of the right rear wheel. Just idling through parking lots it would set off car alarms! Had a good laugh one day when I pulled up in front of the Mazda Parts dept. It set off the alarm on a Tuner (Ricer) Car. Two young guys came running out to save their Tuner Car from theft! As I shut it down I said "damn I didn't mean to scare it" talk about dirty looks! :-)

Don't let the negative comments get under your skin Lightingrod. Some people just feel the need to be negative and to try to get a rise out of others. Ignore them and enjoy your car the way you want it. If someone thinks they can have it built the way they want, mabe they should buy it, build it then give it you!!

Funny, I'm picturing a bull mastiff towering over a trembling Chihuahua..
