Great Cobra Day in PA!
Man,
I got my Car late last fall, so I have been anticipating this Day all Winter long.
70 degrees, sunny, what a great day to take the Cobra for a spin!!! Wind in your hair, smoke streaming out from under the hood, the stench of antifreeze spraying on the Headers taking your breath away. Man how good can it get!!!!!
Makes you forget all the hours spent this Winter changing Head Gasket on a new FORD Crate Engine with only 350 miles logged. The expense was chump change, remember is doesn't cost that much more to fix a Ford, just requires more repairs more frequent.
I feel better now!! A nice big Bag of Oil Dry and I am ready for Ford Country.
Bud
Make that SMOKING BUD!

Bud,
Last sunday was just as good. My ford crate is fine so far, just had to replace distributer and ignition.
See you around.
Dana
What color combo are you so I can recognize you as I pass by?

Do either one of you know of any websites that list all local cruise nights and car shows in the area? I probably won't get to many of them this year, but I never know where they are and when. I only know of a few. Chesterbrook, the one at Rt. 73 and 113, the one in Pottstown. I know there are tons of shows and other cruise nights, but by time I find out, it is too late.

cruise nights
Bud,
Yes I do know Bob. He lives right around the corner.
I thought Thomas (Media) was first friday of the the month and
Faulkner (west Chester) was the second, and
Chesterbrook( k of p) was fourth saturday?
K and G( Broomall) speed shop did a small one fourth friday of the month last year.
The one to know for sure is bob marshall. He usually has the info on all the cruise nights and car shows.
Bob? answers?

George,
Sure was a Great Cobra Day in PA & NJ.
My daughter and I took the new car on a maiden trip to the Jersey Shore, LBI. Left 9:30 AM after fixing the side mirrows. We headed east. She behaved nicely on 95, 29 and 195. There is a 1 mile streach of road off exit 8 of 195 that is so smooth and twisty, I just love to drive it, I was able to do about 10 mph over what I was able to before. Nice. We wanted to stop for beakfast at Marshall's but they were closed. So we got back on the read and finished the drive to LBI. Had breakfast in Ship Bottom and drove to the house. My wife and brother in law arrived 2 hrs latter and sad they saw a blue cobra with silver strips on the Blvd. Wife and I took her on an early morning Sundy drive down the Island. The drive home seemed shorter than before, guess it isthe car I drive. I took my daugther to Lacross practice and a young 8 year old rides his bike over with his dad and strarts asking questions, BB, Side pipes tires, etc. His dad says he has become a real motor head, since the next door neighbor got to old vettes. I asked the dad if it was all right to give him a ride around the parking lot and so off we went. The young man was all grins and giggles after we stopped. This is what is all about. warm days and nights, long twisty roads, no stop signs and all us kids.
Hope the car gets sorted out for the June Cobra Revolution. Good Luck.

Corky,
Start sortin' that thing quickly! Cobra Revolution is getting closer. I expect to have the registration form out this weekend.
I generally don't get to too many Friday cruises, as by time I get home from work, my wife gets home, etc... we just stay in on Fridays. But I remember seeing a website somewhere last year that had a huge list of local car shows. I know there is one in Kimberton coming up soon, but I don't know exactly when.
