Cobra Make, Engine: Classic 427, I purchased it May 2005, the kit was bought in 1991. I'm not sure when it was completed! Installed GMPP Connect & Cruise 376/525 with T-56 S/M 3.55 gears about 2 years ago! 1/4 miles is with old setup!

Once again!
I have a Classic Cobra with a SBC. The Gaskets where the headers meet the side pipes are a joke! Classic says just use Copper Permetex, NOT! I got a piece of .030" copper sheet from a friend in the Sheet Metal business. I made a pattern and cut two gaskets out of the copper. I was thinking one for each side but I wound up putting both on the right side that was leaking at the time. I did use their copper Permetex on all surfaces, it's been great all summer! Of course now the left side is leaking, I still have some sheet and the pattern, so I guess it's time to get out the hole saw again!
