Nice engine, wrong car. Think I'll build a Grand Sport with an SC1 head 427 Ford in it to balance out things!>

Don't hide. . . If sideoilers were that good, then why aren't there more of them around? I'll take a Mk IV BBC any day or one of the new LS7's. . . Nice . . .

I've been a Bowtie guy for 40 years. Yes, I built my Cobra with a Ford motor. Why? Resale value. But like the old saying goes about Ford - The bigger the motor, the slower the car. Everyone knows that the first performance parts on the market are for a SBC, then a BBC then it trickles down to the "has beens".
I had to get used to the distributor at the wrong end of the motor and what about that firing order? Why put the oil pump at the front where there is no oil upon acceleration?

You've got a beautiful car..looks like a lot of hours getting it there. Eventually I'll add another Chev in a Cobra to the mix but not in the neighborhood, went with mild 350 (380hp, 375 torque give or take a bit) 3.50 gears through a worked TH350. Am afraid even this might be too much for my lead foot and little sensiblities.....my wife keeps talking about taking out more life insurance, glad I didn't go the BBC. More power to you guys.

Cobra Make, Engine: Classic 427, I purchased it May 2005, the kit was bought in 1991. I'm not sure when it was completed! Installed GMPP Connect & Cruise 376/525 with T-56 S/M 3.55 gears about 2 years ago! 1/4 miles is with old setup!
