It's pretty.

How many people this side of the Pacific even know what a Habu is?

I'm one of the hardliners who think the engine is way out of place.

I guess I'm gonna have to buy one of those new SPF vettes and put a Ford modular in it.

Didn't go for the ford guys on this one, note the placement of the thread. It is not for everyone but what is. If you want something fugly and with a good motor in I would do that with the SPF Vette.

The engine dropped right in, engine mounts and everything fit very well. A little adjustment on the sidepipes. Engine sounds fantastic, looks great in the engine compartment.

SR-71...

Careful with those hub nuts... still waiting on a positive locking system for them.

Default LS7/BDR a.k.a. swapping for a "good" motor

It's easy to understand putting the LS in the BDR, but a modular in an SPF GS?? When it already had the "good" motor...

Management system came from Street Performance. Basic GM with a reprogram of the computer to meet my engine specs.

Cobra Make, Engine: Classic 427, I purchased it May 2005, the kit was bought in 1991. I'm not sure when it was completed! Installed GMPP Connect & Cruise 376/525 with T-56 S/M 3.55 gears about 2 years ago! 1/4 miles is with old setup!

Good link by J.K. If you were stationed on Okinawa, you know. USAF, Kadena, 1986-1989.

I knew "Habu", both versions! It's been a long time since I heard that term. I was never stationed in Okinawa but was in and out a lot! I watched Habu on those little round green TV screens many times. You had to pay attention because it was like blip, blip, blip and gone!

BAsque, it's also the nickname of the awesome SR-71 Blackbird - which if I'm not mistaken is still the fastest, highest flying jet aircraft ever built.
