Default Soon to be owner!

Hey everyone - just put down the deposit on a new Backdraft last week and hope to see it here in Fresno by late April. Just wanted to introduce myself and see if there is a group that still meets up from time to time. Hope to hear from you and see ya on the road!

Just to say hi. I am rebuilding a 1985 ERA Cobra SC (with a lot of help and hope to join the club as I near completion (est. early in 2017). Doug Cords asked me to give a shout-out to Skip Hogg

This is a body off restoration and taking some time. The body is being restored as we "speak" and the frame is going in for repair and powder coating. The ERA-designed front and rear suspension is being shipped this week and all external hardware has been delivered. Being an absolute neophyte at this whole process, I'm learning to up my patience level. Still looking at completion in early 2017. Thanks for the inquiry.

Hi all - a member recently sent me a message asking how my Cobra project was coming along. I replied, but I kept getting a message that my reply couldn't be delivered to that party. Being new to the Club Cobra Forum, I may have screwed up in sending my reply. If you wish you can also contact me at alancanton@comcast.net. I don't want anyone to think that I am ignoring them.

Alan, so you are restoring one of the very early ERA cars? What is the chassis number of it?

Default Little Known Fact...

What did the sign on Pavlov's front door say?

Knock, please... do not ring the bell.

Chassis # 05. it was a basket case when I found it, having nothing more than the body and frame. I haven't figured out how to add a photo in the forum, but I will send a couple of photos if anyone wants to email me at canton@csufresno.edu.

Hi Alan, Chassis #05, now that's a real find. I hope you get it back together without a problem. ERA has always been my choice for a Cobra Replica. Best of luck on your rebuild.
