Central California Cobra Club?
Just registered my SPF under the SB100 in Calif. (#110) Should have it out of the paint shop soon. Anyone know where the nearest cobra club meetings are held closest to Modesto, in the Central Valley? Thank you, Jeff McKay
Will post pictures when done. BTW, I'm the guy that not many people believed my story when I told my story about the previous owner crashing the car on our test drive earlier last year and damn near killing us both. We believed at the time that the rear axle broke and is what caused the car to suddenly veer dead left and the insurance company eventually concluded that was the cause of the crash.

I think it was not that someone didn't believe your story it's probably they just couldn't believe it happened. If you fell like coming to Sacramento we have a club......Nor Cal Cobras........You are welcome

central valley club???
there are Cobras lurking around all over the central valley......your right in the thick down in the valley. I would be happy to go to a meet or something but no one seems to plan much. Maybe you could light some fires???? Ive kind of tried, would be cool to have a group to go driving with more than just once a year!! I live in Oakhurst, there are a few in Fresno, Modesto, so lets get something planned!!!

The Bay Area group gets together every Saturday morning for breakfast and BS in Dublin. A bit of a trek from Modesto but others come from places just as far. Sometimes drives or small events (Watch Mr. Potatohead drop something down his engine, again ) are after breakfast.
http://bayareacobraclub.com/events.html
The breakfast info is about halfway down the page.
Come on by and join us.

Thanks to all for the information. Definately will make it to Sacto or Dublin. Hopefully someone will try to form an initial event somewhere in the Valley. I plan to be there if so...

I am seriously trying to plan something RE: Club in central CA....include Bakersfield to Lodi so to speak??? we're all a little spread out along the valley but there is certainly enough of us to make it worth while to plan some drives and get togethers.
Just got to figure out how. Cant be that difficult!!!

New Local Clubs Forum for CV?
Hi Cindy!
As a way to take it to the next level of communications, May I be so bold to suggest you champion a new forum on ClubCobra, and notify Brent Mills to create it for you under "Local Clubs". I checked around a bit and apparently CenCal is a real short-name for it too, thus:
Edited:
CenCal Cobras
MidCal Cobras
If you do this, it makes it official covering the whole state now top to bottom and you'll have a place to post your new group drives, runs, etc. This is how all the rest of us did it, and it works great for Local Area communications. There is a moderator in your area, maybe he can create it for you on the fly. Hehehehe.
NorCal Cobras
CenCal or MidCal Cobras
Bay Area Cobra Club
SoCal Cobras
Cool!

FYI: The only reason "CenCal" was suggested is it's because it's consistent with many other organizations in your area, for your reference, here is the Central Valley Divers Club / Organization, just to name a few out there using the CenCal prefix.
