New Cobra Owners
Hi everyone,
My Dad and I bought our Cobra last week, and it will arrive tomorrow or Tuesday, via enclosed vehicle transport! We are counting the minutes!! It is a FFR MkIII with a 302. Guardsman Blue with white stripes. We are definitely going to be changing a few things, like the wheels, glove box door, mainly. It has been a dream of ours since I was around ten years old, (now I am 34)!
It was a blast to test drive too!
I would like to meet all of you and cruise with you guys, so I hope newcomers are welcome....
Jeff, I have been meaning to call you, but I have been so busy with this trip to GA and the purchase. I also work night time, so I sleep through most of the day. I will give you a call this week, and I appreciate your kindness.
I look forward to seeing everyone's Cobras....
From,
Chris

All thing considered, you can put together a pretty good argument that the 427 Cobra is the ultimate performance car, judged on any basis you want to name." SunbearGT.
Did you know there is a car show at MJC next weekend. Supposed to be a few cobras there. I know Rick Harms is going to be there with his. Mine is not ready yet or it would be there. I know it was a good show last year. Rick an I both have Classic Roadsters.

Welcome, Chris & Dad!
Welcome to the fun! We have a great group of Cobras around this valley, and the next meet is the June 23rd, a Saturday. It is being worked out the details, but we're looking to drive to Bass Lake, a terrific drive and nice windy roads. Good Cobra stuff.
Please join us no matter what car your in, ok? There is a variety that shows up, so the more the merrier!!

Hi Chris! We are new Cobra owners too... and live in Modesto. You must be in the same "I can't believe we have a Cobra" mode like us.

June 23rd meet
We had a great meet at and drive to Bass Lake and further! What a cool road, beautiful views, an interesting thought for a road ralley......
Morgan, hope all is getting taken care of with your tire! Btw....our hotel carries your brand of grape, you have a PM.
Rick & John, good to see you guys again. Hope you liked the mountain driving!! Its also very pretty in the winter with 6 plus feet of snow on that road....... I would post some pics but theyre too large/high resolution for posting and am working on making them smaller. I havent gotton that part down yet.....if anyone out there knows how to make them smaller by all means jump in here!!!
