Default The new guy

Hi to all, purchased my cobra over a year ago, almost finished now.I have been following Capt Eds build from the beginning.Mr Combs I have tremendous respect for what you do and all you do to help everyone.I don't have any manuals or build sheets.Which leads me to say that I may and will be pickings you mind in order to complete my ride in the near future(if thats alright with you).I made my purchase based on the info I've read here.I'm 6'2 and needed leg room and was impressed on quality and strenght of chassis and body parts.I know I made the right choice and hope all you guys will accept me with open arms. Thanks in advance to all ANDY

Hi Andy.
always nice to see another nj guy with a CRII.
I live in Denville which is 45 minutes from you............
My car is in the body shop right now, hoping to get it back later this month and then finish it.
I will be more than happy to show you things and give you info so you wont have to redo certain things.
I, like you and everyone else here learned alot from this forum. However, nothing comes close to seeing it with your own eyes. If you need to come up look at some things, take pictures...... just let me know.

Good luck
Eyal

Smile thanks

Thanks guys,Cant wait for warmer weather. My first trip out of shop in mid fall weather, and I marked my territory with a sixty foot equal sign on my lot,had to stop concrete and fiberglass not good, very bad.Very quick but still need help with rim offset and tire size, door latches, front end selection ect.I rewired the car was not done correctly,Don't like cooling fan set up.Will Install a similar set up as I have in my camaro(I may have failed to mention I'm a master mechanic & own a auto repair and Diagnostic center).Know may way around a little,But this is very much different and will respect all advice given to me by all of the members here.Your experence is what I seek.My Cobra was 70% complete when I brought it but half of that was not done safely or to my standards. With that being said.If ever I can repay anyone,or if there's anything that I might be able to assist with please email me.The Pleasure has been all mine Gentlemen,Thanks in advance. Andy P/S Mr Combs I will Not call you Mr Combs again, well maybe one more time? Mr Combs,Promise no more,ED or is that Mr Ed,No not that, now I'm showing my age!!!
