1 1/4 inch(inside dia.) rubber grommets, front and rear for CR
I still need the 1 1/4 inch inside diameter rubber grommets, front and rear for my CR. I have had a person on this site tell me they have them and are going to send them however, 2 months later and nothing.
Does anyone have them , and if so please let me know and do not jerk me around anymore.
Sincerely,
CobraZach

Might want to check out McMaster-Carr ( www.mcmaster-carr.com) at the following link:
http://www.mcmaster.com/#9280k35/=6cxs8g
It looks like either the 9280K35 or 63595K36 would work depending on which application you would want.

WOW! Sorry. I do work and I do also travel a lot for work. I did just find the extras I have a week or so ago in one of the boxes of leftovers I brought back from DVs. I'm also in the process of moving, but hey.... sorry for letting you down. That said I can send you what I have or you can do as the previous poster suggested. Go to Mcmaster and Carr and buy your own bag of 25, since thats the minimum order for these. I wasn't even planning on charging you, since I have no use for the extras.

CobraZach,
Once again, there are TWO different sizes, smaller ones for the back, larger ones for the angle of the fronts. Cpteddie has both sizes...be nice! He'll get them to ya!

Hi Capteddie and Double Venom:
I apologize for my aggressive post. CaptEddie, I would really appreciate it if you could send me the grommets. Of course I do not need 25 per bag, so you would really be helping me out. I need : (4)smaller ones for the back,(4) larger ones for the angle of the fronts, as per Double Venom. My bumper tubes are 1 1/4 inch O.D.
Thank You CaptEddie and Double Venom for the reply.

CobraZach,
So you know these grommets come as an Inner/Outer type grommet that is usually used
for "though" firewall type fittings. In other words One for the front, one for the back, take a razor blade to split them in half! WALL-AHHHH, two and two!

Capteddie and DV
Capteddie: Thank You very much for sending the grommets, if there is something I can do for you, you can count on me.
DV: I did not know that you split the grommets as the instruction manual does not address this. I really appreciate the information from you.
Thanks Again and Take Care,
CobraZach

CptEddie,
George's too. He too should be burnin' some rubber soon too!
To make a difficult task very simple the front ones are 1-1/2" I.D. The rear are all 1" ID
Builders note: I don't glue the rear ones in place. They fit tight enough not to move. The Point: I simply pull the rear grommets forward toward the bumper to wax the body...no hard to remove wax/polish from the rear grommets this way. When done just slide them back in place!
