Wow DV,
That couldn't have fallen into a better lap. Atleast you know what the stuff is and can appreaciate it for what it is and not some pile of rusted junk. Good luck with it all. Looks like you will be laying off the Cobras for awhile.

An update:
right now, confirmed 350 Hi-Po motors, 348's, 396's, 409's, 427's, 454's.
Multiples of each motor. Factory OEM Aluminum intakes for numerous motors.

The motors and related parts plus all the tools etc., will be in my shop in Pentwater on the 16th of May. All motors and related Heads will be cleaned. No machine work on any motor has been done! None will be done. The motors will be available for inspection for one week then bids will be taken for three days for an entire package. A Silent reserve is held in private.

Bring your own GM books and Mic's. I think the casting numbers and what they tell you will be rather eye opening.

I'm happy for you Ed. You've always done a lot for others and you've also been hit with some tough challenges and setbacks. Time for you to collect a bit of a reward - have fun and enjoy it to the fullest my brother!

Buzz,
I get an old 80's pick up, my daughter gets a 409 for her 1945 GMC and the widow gets all the proceeds, but...... I couldn't pay for this experience! Just -Wow! To put these old hands on those motors is indescribable!

Have at it Buddy! A great experience can be just as rewarding as material gain. Nothing like a bunch of new toys to play with.
