Went today to referee and left with a sticker that makes me smog exempt whoooo hooo next stop brake and light .
Has anyone not run wipers ? will you get dinged at the inspection?

Congrats! Always a great feeling to get that behind you. Just thought I'd check...does your DMV paperwork indicate brake and light? If not, you can skate by. If you have any problems, Steve (Panavia) at Mustang Ranch can refer you to someone in the South Bay to do the inspection.

Thanks to all what a journey its been! , rodnock yesterday I had to outrun the storm from after the chp vin verification and the darned rain did actually go right over the top.
So what is required equiptment to be checked at the brake and light?

On mine thet checked the lights came on and looked at the brakes!

Get that baby out on the road ... Dangerous Doug drove his ERA for quite a while without paint ... and he had a heck of a lot of fun
It will also let you have a chance to do some little tweaks here and there as you get more miles on the car and it gives you more time to pick a color, unless you already have a color in mind.

Oh yeah its going to get all the bugs out this summer and then when the weather turns its off to paint. So keep an eye in your rear view mirror for the ugly duckling Ha Ha Mark got the bug i PMed you

There is no such thing as a " ugly ducking" when it come to Cobra's, when I was shaking down my Cobra I got just as many thumbs up as when it was painted!
