Default I did something dumb......Master cylinder question

So I did this disc brake conversion on the back of my CR and I forgot all about the fact that I have a disc/drum MC. Whoops... No wonder the brakes don't work correctly.. lol

Anyhow can anyone recommend an MC that I can replace mine with (brand/part number). I have a brake booster in there so I guess I just want to replace the MC. Unless it's a necessity to replace the brake booster as well. Also do I need to remove my proportioning valve as well.

If memory serves me right the existing unit is from a Mustang II.

TIA

Mike

Mike,
I am running Wilwood disks all around, Wilwood adjustable bias valve and a Wilwood master with a stock booster.

The Wilwood master is p/n 260-8556.

Hope this helps

Bolts right up to mine. But remember mine is a CRL not a CRII if that even matters.

You might want to pull your master and measure the bolt pattern, size of bolt, the part that protrudes into the booster (if there is one) your brake line fitting sizes, your caliper and rotor information. You might want to pick up the adjustable brake bias valve also. You will probably need it.

That would give Wilwood all of the information they need.

Well there are threads about alternates as well such as a mustang gt mc and a corvette mc. I'll contact wilwood and in the interim maybe someone else may have some suggestions. My wife just entered nursing school and I have to pay all of the tuition over the next few months so I may need a cheap fix. Lol
