If you want your [your to be] right roll bar to match your left one, yes.
Lining up the rear bottom corner of the door to the body.
Normally that is the weak spot on the door moulds. If our cars, CR's didn't have a solid pan you might be able to pull the body out a little so it would fit better, but, most likely that isn't going to happen.
Line the door up using the front edge, the top back and front, get it as close as you want it, (DON'T forget to lift up the rear section at the middle of the trunk area under the car to match up the back of the door to the body!) then weld your plate in.
Now, just build up the edge a little on the wheel well/fender with body filler to match your door.
That's it.
