Default Wow-Thanks for all the thoughts!

Terry, wasn't on earlier, I'm at the Hart (Michugan) Public Library of all things.
Firts of off I have to tell Caption Eddy that I had NO idea he was funding the "Verizon - wireless card" he had given me. I initiallty asked him if I could purchase it from him, since I have no idea how their charging fee is set up. Ed told me he had half a dozen of them for his computer, his laptops and his kids computers. The laptop that he gave me was one of his "kids" that didn't use it anymore.

It was not until the other day when I got a call from one of the guys here that I had the faintest Idea that "Ed" was funding my wireless bill at UP TO & OVER $300.00 a month! My gawd, I just about fainted! I understood that ALL of Ed's wireless cards were from his employment and that his employment just paid for a "BLOCK" of time each month!

Ed, I do apologize. I had no idea! Since I got the word about what you had been doing, I have finally done a lot of research into these wireless services!
No wonder I had always used a modem!

Your Verison "plug In" will be in the mail shortly!

Now if anyone wants to get a hold of me, since I am sure I am not going to be at the Public Library often..... call me 231-869-4608!

Enjoy, and thanks everyone for your concerns.

The card you have was my personal card. I didn't realize it was costing that much until I sat down with my account to talk about some numbers for Ferguson Motorsports and he asked me why I/he/we were paying out that much to Verizon. I thought one of the cards got stolen and had Verizon kill it off.

After a couple of PMs about you dropping offline. I realized it was the one you had and has been without a contract for well over a year. Thats why the bills were so high every month.

Oh well...

Cobra Make, Engine: Classic 427, I purchased it May 2005, the kit was bought in 1991. I'm not sure when it was completed! Installed GMPP Connect & Cruise 376/525 with T-56 S/M 3.55 gears about 2 years ago! 1/4 miles is with old setup!

OK, then,
Wondered why you wanted to remove the seats again? Espscially the time "we" spent on modifying the back wall, the flor bords, the trsnmission tunnel etc...? Now I know what.... the radio has been absonded with!I should have sptted that along time ago whtm I missed your I-Pod cable!

All mods, things left undone, buffing. trunk rebuilt and painted, installing a new World Class T-5.

Heard about anything from the State referrring you CMOS? I might need that if I sell out of State ??. If you haven't heard anything yet, I'll get some "Auto Theft Detectives to help get them on the ball! Nice to have a few friends in the right places!.

While I'm at it, how about the wiper blades!? I know you sais you lost one vent wing, so a new set is on order for that part(s)'

Still have a couple of fantastic TCI automatics obver here whenever you feel like picking them up.

Wait until you see a final picture!

Hey Ed, the lack of card shouldn't keep you off CC or any other site for long. There are many restarants, hotels etc. with free WiFi being broacast at all times. I'm assuming that your laptop doesn't have WiFi built in but I bet it has USB ports. With a small WiFi adapter like this one you will at least be able to connect in WiFi hotspots around town. Who knows, you can find unsecured networks all over. Just ask CW, he's a master. LOL At any rate, this kind of thing is what you're looking for:

DV,

I have two of those types of adapters. Let me know if you want one. I'll send it to you.

It is just a wireless adapter. DV will still have to find a connection out there in WiFi land.

Edit:

DV,
The adapter is on it's way and you have a PM with the tracking info.

It appears that Ed is more of a Cobra builder than an IT guy. Good for him, glad to see he's got his priorities straight.
