So what version of Classic Roadster do I have

I looked at the MSO at it states that the kit is made in 1997.

So is that an original Classic Roadstar?
Wide transmission tunnel?

What issue should be be looking for with that build?

I have the Leman gas cap kit and one thing that I don't like is that the breather fitting is drilled 45 degrees into the neck is not sealed with a poop.

'97 would be an original CR's, LTD. What is wrong with the screwed in vent tube? Already assembled without sealant? No need really but simply unscrew it and teflon tape it or plumbers dope.

Here is a pic of the cap with the drilled opening for the vent tube fitting ( I have that too).
I have not assembled it yet but was concerned that it would leak. The thread look kind of scary.

Besides that, the main question I was asking was, where there any issues with the company around the time the quite was built?
Should there be things I look for when assembling the car, like poor fitment of fiberglass pieces that will need alot of work or poor gelcoating?
