Default Door latch and rear latch

Hey guys

i am searching for other options for door handles. the classic has a bar like rod that comes out behind the seat which is difficult to reach. is there a better ie. normal latch like handle or something i can put on this latch to make it easier to open and pretty(uuuhhh Handsome. the rear latch is under the fender area this to is strange only in that you lift the gate up by the rear lic. plate light bracket which doesnt seem right. maybe these are original Cobra designs but i do like function with form. i have seen some different handles on the unique for both the door and rear lid can these be easily put on the classic model

thanks Mike
just love tweaking the cobra. burning up tires is kinda fun too.

Mike, Is this the car purchased from Jim V. In Dallas? If it is Forget the other thread answer because I know the brake setup. The door releases are not stock Classic. They use a cable system that places the release handle next to the seat. I don't use them because of the failures I have had in the past. There are several options for the doors. You could use the cable system and put the handles anywhere you want, you can also install electric door solenoids and have a remote opener. The trunk latch is in the stock Classic location. You could have a handle similar to the original but it needs to be placed in the corner of the lid. There is no room between the license plate and the lid for placement in the center. I have done dual handles (1 in each corner) which looks ok. Give me a call and I can give you more information on the brakes and the trunk latch.

Don,
I put two handles on the trunk but, I haven't figured out how to make them latch. Any ideas?
