Default Is the top of the firewall susposed to be tilted forward?

I noticed when mocking up the hood latch, that it never seemed to quite fit right... Looking that the top of the firewall, I noticed that it tilts forward around 10 degree or where the minute hand on a clock would be at 5 minutes after.

Is the firewall susposed to be straight up and down?
If so what do I do??? I take it that I cannot simply try bending it backwards..
Cutting it I am sure would compromise structural rigidity...

I don't know if it is supposed to be on a CR but the top of the firewall is tilted forward on an original.

It should be close to flush with the inside of the lip in the hood area. At least mine is anyway.

added info:
I believe that it is tilted forward because that way when you install the body and pull it back into position the firewall lip presses on the hood lip to create a seal of sorts.

If you put foam tape or a bulb seal of sorts on the upper part of the firewall lip it helps the sealing and also helps body vibration/shake a bit.
