Don Scott

Hi, most of you on here probably don't know me. I am Don Scott's son, Bill Scott I worked with him at Classic Roadsters II from the time he purchased the company from Fargo. I am posting on here with bad news, my Dad passed away unexpectedly on Friday March 1st from a pulmonary embolism. We are all in complete shock and trying to figure out how to deal with the loss of such a great man, he was my rock and my role model, he meant the world to me and he will be missed greatly. I know he was important to some of you and I just wanted to make sure everyone knew what happened. His heart was always in cars and he was very sad to see Classic Roadsters go, as was I. Thank you to those of you that helped him enjoy his dream for as long as he did in the business I know it meant a lot to him. Donald L. Bill, sorry for the loss of Don. I knew Don for years (since 1997) and thought highly of him both as a car guy and a really good person. He will be deeply missed by more than a few people. Prayers for you and your family at this time and in the future. God speed Don.

Bill,
Don & I had more than a casual relationship. I thought the world of your Dad. I know what loosing CR's meant to him and how hard he tried to make it work. He is the only one I know that makes my knowledge pale in comparison to his knowledge of the CR's.

"Our family" will miss him deeply. Sincere blessings to you and your family.

My dealings with Don were very positive. It's a shame to see him go. Rest in peace, Don.

So sorry for your loss Bill!

Bill, sorry for your and the families' loss. I purchased a CRI that Don built. His assistance and guidance to me as the 2nd owner set the high mark for personal and superb service.

I always received a great education every time I spoke with him. Kind, courteous, and faithfully encouraging, my kit would have never been completed without him.

I'd imagine it was quite the blessing to have him as an example, hold on to that, and 'try' to be more of the same.

So sad ,you're Dad once spent two hours on the phone with me one night trying to get
my wiring right. I finished my car in 2008 and with out all of his help I probably would be still working. RIP Don.

All Miss You Buddy!

Bill I'm so sorry for your loss! Your dad was a big help to me when I was building my Cobra. With all his knowledge about cars and the CR Kit I called him many, Many times for help. He was that kind of guy that would give the shirt off his back to help you out. I will miss him deeply! I never did meet Don face to face but that never stopped the friend ship over the years.
All see you later Don...keep the beer cold for us!
Thanks Don!
Your the best!

Bill,
I confess I am not on this website like I used to be. Just read this...

I am so very sorry. I met you Dad over 10 years ago and he gave me my first solo shot in a Cobra. I bought y car from him and he helped me greatly as I was sorting it out the first few years.

But what really struck me and the thing that I will always remember about your Dad was what a wonderful soul he was and is.

I will always think fondly of him and hope to see him again some day.

Take Care,
Mike

Bill and Family,

I am shocked and saddened to hear of your father's passing.

He helped me buy my "kit" in '95 when he had his shop in Andover and he helped me in many ways as I worked towards my finished project.

I considered him a friend and really enjoyed my many visits to his shop in Sauk Centre.

Although we kind of lost touch after the SHTF, I will miss him and his expertise and will carry fond memories of my knowing him.

All the best!
