Are you interested?
I'll save details for later, just a survey.
Are you interested in a Quality, all USA built PUKE TANK Specifically designed for 351's?? True exact reproduction made from "Air Set" molds instead of the poured standard? (Much smoother and flaw less with Air Set".
No modifications needed to mount to the 351's, has the identical shape, size and ribbing as the original. Black as the original ones or the raw gray casting color.
Price hadn't been set yet but they will be a LOT cheaper than the reproduction tanks on the marker today!
Depending on what I find out, production is probably two months away.

One step closer to reality.
Talked to "Mom and Pop" this morning, seems a cobra builder in Australia has asked them to do the same thing I have.
Since this does appear to be viable option for a quality OEM reproduction at less than half the price some company's are asking for.
They are going to also offer the straight "air poured" casting, clear coated castings, or any color done in powder coating for the discriminate buyer
More to come as things get finalized.

Just to clarify, I assume you are talking about the coolant expansion tank, not the "puke" tank on the firewall that serves to catch the oil from the engine, tranny, and diff breathers. ?

Sorry for the confusion. The expansion tank is what I'm interested in.

I would be in if reasonably priced
I assume it will fit a 302 and bolts to the thermostat section of the intake manifold.

C0braEd,
It will look exactly like the 427 expansion tank but completely designed to fit the 302/351.
Inlet at this point will be to the right of the out let. Mounting will be the same as the BB but top fit the SB's.
When he's done with the first casting I'll post pictures!

I might be interested. I built a custom one but I think it's too small and consequently I keep getting the engine sprayed with coolant... not cool! Anyone have a photo of the original look?

Buddy,
All I can say is, you missed one hell of a winter!
Retired my butt, I've got two LSC's going both with the new Ford 351/427's! 9" four link rear ends, coil overs the whole shebang. The auction car is getting a truly custom built Duel 450 CFM Holley's with a special intake being built by the same guy who is making the over flow - puke tanks.
One for a guy that got really ripped by Terry Gattrill, Great Lakes' ( Beware Gattrill is trying to start under a new name!) something or another, and another guy who is building it very special so to speak. He'll drive it for awhile promoting his book, "Stranger Inside Me' , about head trauma and the life he and thousands of others live with, AND then he is donating the car to GRAND RAPIDS VETERANS HOME where the plan is to raffle if off at B-J with all proceeds from the book and auction to go to the veterans!
Right up my alley. (You can find the book on Amazon and it is one heck of a nights reading')
See you when you get back.
