Do I have the engine mount on the wrong side?

From what I can tell from the manual, I think this belongs on the other side (hopefully moving the engine forward a couple of inches)

(This is the drivers side just in case )

Mounts look too far back, swapping them over will move the engine back.

Well, I examined the manual again and determined that the frame mounts where on the wrong side but the engine mounts where on the correct side...

The engine forward up about 2 inches. :-)

Yes I believe you do. Also you will find you get a lot of twist with the factory rubber isolators. I recommend getting a set of Urethane engine mounts. I put them in mine and it stopped my pipes from hitting the cutouts on the side of the body when you stand on it. If you want some pics let me know

Thanks cobra1966, do you have the later style mounts... I have the 1979 Mustang II style mounts. If the ones you linked will work with what I have,that would be great.
