Engine mounts

I have the early style engine mounts for a Mustang II... I would like to upgrade to the later style mount... Does anyone have a the piece that goes between the body and the engine mount?
Can the old style be easily retro fitted to use the newer mounts?
Can someone post a pic of what the modified ones look like?

Jegs, Summitt, etc.., sell Urethane mounts. Don't come mush better than those.

DV, you misunderstood me... I am talking about the piece that the engine mount connects to, and that piece then bolts into the frame of the car.
(The piece with the two silver bolt heads)

Well, yes Sir I did. "MuSh & all". May I ask why you would want to change the frame mount? I must be totally confused, wouldn't be the first time

Ok, let see if I can break the components down...
1. Engine
2. 78 engine mount from Ford
3. Engine mount adapter from CR (bolts to pockets)
4. The welded in pockets that the engine mount adapters sit in.

I am talking about #3.

Actually where I think I got confused was I haven't used CR's frame mounts in years....
I simply buy the aforementioned Urethane mounts and weld up a simple box that the newer mounts will bolt up to. I bolt in the actual motor mounts, put the motor in place, (hanging from a chain hoist or engine hoist) cut three 3/16's plates for the mount. I "tack" both left and right in place. I then take the center plate and tack it in place with the proper angle to fit engine mounts. I will usually weld the top plate to the sides permanently. I then break the temporary welds loose, clean up the temporary plates and cut the excess of the top plate. I weld the side plates in permanently then remove the whole thing and finish cutting what ever holes I need for the stud on the engine isolators. Place it back on the frame mount. Then I lower the engine until the engine is fitting tight to my first frame mount, then weld it in tight. Opposite side repeat, making sure the engine is level left to right & front to back.

Believe it or not it really does make a difference, but on a stock 302 I don't know if it would or not?
