Cobra Make, Engine: Classic 427, I purchased it May 2005, the kit was bought in 1991. I'm not sure when it was completed! Installed GMPP Connect & Cruise 376/525 with T-56 S/M 3.55 gears about 2 years ago! 1/4 miles is with old setup!

Dyno Time!
Hope to get my SBC on the engine dyno next week. Upgraded the cam to 255* @ .050 and .613" lift with 1.6 rockers! I'm going to try an 800 CFM Holley and an 850 CFM Demon! Not sure if I'm going to hit with the NOS?
TKO 600 Road Race and Center Force dual friction clutch. I'm going to stick with the 4.11's for now but I think they my be a bit much with the 5 speed, later maybe 3.73 or 3.55?

I run 3:31, but then I run something very different than a SBC....
A rat motor?
Sorry, couldn't resist. Best of luck with the pull and engine.

I regret selling my GMPP 572/620! With a little more cam and the 370 cc heads I still have sitting on the shelf it would have made over 800! Got to love them BB even if they are Fords! :-) I'm hoping for 550+ without the NOS on my 388!

It's a 388 and the cam is a solid roller with a rev kit but I think it should be all in by 6500-6600! 500+ on a mid size (383) is not that hard or uncommon with todays heads and cams! I have the earlier style 210 AFR Race ready heads (2.08" x 1.60" valves). I'm running 10-1 CR. If it don't do better than 500 I will be really ticked off!
I still have a 468 with a B&M 420 Mega Blower in the garage! I have thought about selling the huffer and getting a Vortech or pro-charger for it! :-) NOT, staying SBC but 427-434 may be in the works! I got somebody wanting the whole 468 setup but I really want to sell the whole PROJECT, 74 wide body Vette! The Cobra and my old 454SS truck is more than I have the time and energy for any more!

I never did like my 421 and 434 combo. They burned to much oil because of where the wrist pin is located. A better combo would be the tall deck dart block and keep the pin out of the oil ring land. That's my current set up, 450 inches, dart block and dart 18* heads.
