Thank you 1985 CCX, I'd say it worth more then $. 02, you can never have too many places to look. I'll try to help 74proii as much I as I can (I've owned mine only 2-month's) so I have a lot to learn too, but's he only one town over, so easy to compare piece's.

"both the latch covers AND the inner door jamb fronts and toe kick covers!

(left and right)" Do you have ones that could be copied? Tom and I had a great introduction the other night, and he was very helpful. We determined I was also missing these parts, an you specialize in fiberglass maybe would easier than trying to coy Tom's. I found a few smaller, yet vital missing components mostly on the door hinges and trunk hardware, and one missing red tail did find although somewhat worse for wear a "classic roadsters" license plate frame. Simple but I thought it was neat.

Tom, I found my door latches, and great news my windshield frame supports were in the box, but way longer than yours. mine are one piece from the top of the windshield down to the support bar. I looked tonight and my heater ducts/ windshield holes are scribed, but not the gas cap location. oh and I found little protective covers for the rear fenders for above the exhaust pipes.

@NocalLmo, Studebaker53 found the whole assy. at LMC lighting, bucket, headlight, wring, and trim ring, for just about what I paid for just the ring's. Mine came from Snake Doctor in NC. NOS pair. Check both places. @74proii, hey I had a meeting at LeMays museum yesterday so let's do Sat. hopefully at the shop, if it quits raining for a couple hours to get it down there, JEWalt down in Tx. may have some extra hinges, I have his # or maybe he'll reply here. Great meeting you too, John.

@Alfa02....my headlight buckets, light and trim ring came from www.SLCLighting.com They fit perfect on my Classic Roadsters. Just alittle over $100. Cant be more happier. The lights are the same that fit large commercial trucks.

My mistake, studebaker53, glad you corrected me, before NocalLmo started looking at a web site that doesn't get him there. Everything well with your build? I don't know if I mentioned it. But I found the perfect headlight's (Period correct) Lucas PL-700 Tri-bar, though a place called Classic Garage in NY. They are on sale for $106 (reg $279 before shipping) delivered to your door. Myself and my painter's CR Cobra now have them, and they look spot on.

74 Proii,

I'm heading out of Cleveland this afternoon for Ft Myers, Florida for the winter. I'm actually a little bummed as I've made great progress on my rebuild so far and now putting it to bed until next May. I'll probably have car building withdrawals over the next few days. Oh well, nothing a drink can't fix!

I do have all of my parts, but I won't be back to work on the car until next May. It may be quicker if you borrow Tom's parts and copy them yourself. I can walk you through how to do it, it's fairly simple. I just made Tom a copy of my tunnel for his car, he should receive it on Tuesday or Wednesday next week if you want to see the result.

In the meantime, Tom has my phone number if you need to get in touch with me.

I came back here to thank rbgray1, on my trans. tunnel. This is the reason we have this forum's, 2-months ago, we didn't know each other from Adam. Rob took the last few day's before leaving for Fla. for the winter to finish my tunnel, when he could of been working on his Cobra. When I brought my Cobra, I never would have expected to find such great guy's as I've found here. Thank you Rob, Cheers Tom.

Tom,

Your welcome buddy, and thanks again for the latch covers......it's not a one way street for any of us and it was my pleasure to help.

Send some pics soon of your build.....I'm having withdrawals from not being able to work on mine.
