Mike, Are you talking about the nudge bars that go between the bumperettes? If you are, the only ones that will work without modification are the Classic Roadsters. Unfortunately they are not available at this time. You may find a used set by posting under parts wanted or maybe someone else knows if they are available somewhere else. If you are talking about the bumperettes they are exclusive to Classic also but are available from them. If you are talking about the quick jacks they are also exclusive and available from Classic.

Default nudge bars

Yes Don

i was looking for the front nudge bars, do you know when they will be available, do you know why they will only fit CR, if the distance between the bumpers is larger i may just make slight extensions and chrome the edge. as long as the ring lines up.

thanks Mike

Mike, The CR uses a larger diameter support rod and the spacing is greater between the rods. This is true on the front and rear. Most of the nudge bars I have seen mount between the bumperettes on the inside edge. Cr mounts to both support rods (these are the 1" diameter spacers from the frame to the bumperette). I haven't tried any other mfg's part so I don't know what it would take to modify one. I know Classic has been talking about building these again but I'm not sure when. I'll check into it because I know there are quite a few people looking for these.

Just chiming in so you know I'm not letting you hang, but Don has said it all.

We were in the proccess of having these made, but the costs, with chroming is so high, it is hard to convince anyone to manufacture them.

It's little stuff like this that drives you nuts. I got OEM front and rears from europaspares.com in England, did a little creative bracketry, and bolted them on. All stainless, no chroming. Home Depot plumbing department has some rubber grommets that look original on CR unique dimensions. Bumperettes use 1/2"x13 threaded rod. Will take close ups if interested.

Default CR nudge bars

Hey guy's...Yes CR is looking into someone having them made...have talked to him and know that he has the plans for them. As for how long...don't realy know..I've been waiting for headers from him for almost 9 months. My project has been on hold because of this...and it sucks...paid in advance plus shipping. I guess you'll just have to wait like I am.

Lightbulb Why does not someone make them in high polish stainless steel?

It looks great and there would be no chrome cost.

I took the prints to a local custom shop to see if I can get these made at a reasonable cost. I'll let you know when I hear back from them.
