Default Mounting seats, how far forward do your seats sit from the back of the cockpit wall?

I am mounting my seats, how far forward do your seats sit from the back of the cockpit wall? (This is assuming that the seat is pushed all the way back.)

With the slider on mine all way positioned so the seat is as far back as possible AND drilling through the floor so that it goes through a cross brace, It appears that the seat will site 1~1.5 inches from the back of the cockpit wall.

Have people had it so they could push the seat against the rear wall?

I opted to take my driver seat off sliders to make more leg room under the steering wheel but when it was on sliders I’m pretty sure it was about a half an inch off the wall.

Same here, but with the sider's installed, We mounted the seat bolts dead center of the cross brace, safest way. But then I'm only 5' 6" so lots of room for me. We took the sider bolts off and installed grade 8 bolts & Nuts, again for safely. Same with the 5-point belts (Grade 8).

I'm 6'3", the spf seems to have more footbox room vs the FFR I used to have. With the exception of the left knee. Maybe it's just the height of the clutch pedal.

I notice my head is less in the windstream than my old car

My seat is tight against the back "wall" at the bottom. The previous owner (and probably the one who had it built was short too) was 5' 5" so I had to move the seat back. I also used shock grommets under the front bolts to tilt the seat back. The pedal distance is comfortable, although the steering wheel is a bit closer than I've been used to.
There's no room to rest my left foot though, my knee hits the top of the door where it curves into the dash so I have to slide my left foot over just short of under my right ankle. It's a bit uncomfortable, but bearable, even on longer rides.
But, it's all good because I'm driving a Cobra!
