Default correct color for FE block
I have a 390 FE block that is going into my kit car and was wondering what the correct color of the block should be ?My block is painted dark ford blue right now . I thought that I read some where that the original 427 blocks in the cobra were painted black ?

Yes black, some originals seem to have been old ford blue as well.
