Bulldog,
Are you running with the original springs or have you upgraded to coilovers?? You may have to do an extensive search on the forums. Classic Roadster, Don Scott, DV Ed Combs from about 15 years ago. I want to say 250# but that's not reliable. I may have it written down in my notes. You could also look to Everett Morrison, seems the cars are similar. Ill see if I can find it. Good luck!! John

Don't your existing springs have numbers on them? FWIW, I have 12" x 250 lbs/in up front on my ERA, but my rear springs are 9” x 550 lbs/in.

EDIT -- I went down to the garage and checked the rear springs. They are not 400 lbs., they are 550 lbs.

And remember that the length of the spring (12" and 9" for me) is just as important as the lb. numbers - the two work together.

Bulldog
If you have coil springs that sit on top of the lower control arm then that is original. The shock is located separately. I have no idea what the length or rating is, sorry.

John
